Rings n Things

I am a masssssive ring fan. I either wear none or loads! Usually not in hot weather (like at the moment) as I find it a bit uncomfortable. But the rest of the year I wear a lot, and I love mixing them up and stacking them. I don't care if people say you shouldn't mix metals - cos I do, and I think its looks great! I do prefer silver rings but I do have some lovely gold ones that I wouldn't be without either. I have tons of cheap rings from H and M, but a few special ones, so here they are! I decided not to photograph on my hands as I HATE my hands haha :) Enjoy!

1. Yves Saint Laurent Arty Dots Ring - from Net-A-Porter, I don't think its available anymore but YSL have lots of gorgegous rings like this! I remember buying this as a treat when I got my job!

2. Chanel Quilted Gold Ring - this was a very generous present, and I LOVE IT! I only wear it on special occasions though as its so precious.

3. Skull ring with Swarovski Crystals - I bought this at the Clothes Show in Birmingham last year from a stall called Park Side -it was about £15. Sadly its going green (don't you hate when that happens?) so I have to be careful how much I wear it. You can find their website here http://parksideaccessories.com/

4 & 6. Set of three stacking silver rings and wrap around stud ring - these are possibly my favourite rings ever. They are from an AMAZING jewellery designed called Daisy Knights who I have privilege of knowing. She made these for me last summer along with a bracelet. 5. I LOVE this ring as well! When my friend told me she was going to New York last year, I just had to ask her to buy this for me from Bloomingdales as I hadn't been able to find the collection anywhere in the UK. The ring is by Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James. The whole collection was stunning and I wish so much I could have bought more.

Nailene

I went into Boots and bought a couple of packets of nails from Nailene - I thought I would try the petite ones as when I've bought other brands they are always without fail way too big. These ones did look tiny and I thought they might be too small...but I decided to try them out first, and I'm really pleasantly surprised because they fit really well, even the thumb nail was a bit too big so I had to file it down. I forgot to take pictures before I started hence why the packet is a bit empty in the picture haha. You get 24 nails in that pack and it cost about £6 or £7, so there should be enough for two wears. I haven't opened the second pack yet which are the 'So Natural' ones. I will let you know how I get on with them. Oh, another point, I am so glad I bought the So Natural ones as well as the Petite ones didn't come with any glue!! So if you pick up the petite ones make sure you have some nail glue to use with them. I normally don't like wearing fake nails because they are too long and I don't like washing my hair when I have them on - but these are perfect length - quite short, so I think I will be really happy wearing them,and my nails look sooo much better than normal! I mentioned before I hate taking photos of my hands, so there is a picture I snapped on my phone for you instead of a proper quality shot - haha - sorry about that, but you get the idea!

A Nude Affair : Mac In The Groove

I wanted to buy a lot more from this collection, one of the Mineralise Blushes in particular - but I settled on three things as Mac is so expensive! I couldn't really justify buying anything that I was not certain I would love! I went for the Creme D'Nude lipstick, By Candlelight and Stereo Rose MSFs. Pictures and swatches below. The swatches don't really come out that amazing on my arm I'm afraid - they look a bit strange - sorry about that. I am in love with the lipstick, of course, who wouldn't be? Its gorgeous and its one of those colours that I think really suits me. Stereo Rose is absolutely stunning, I have been wearing it on my cheeks as a blush. I have yet to use By Candlelight yet, but I will let you know what I think very soon. Did you guys get anything from this collection, any stand outs that I should invest it? Love hearing your thoughts girls. X

My Favourite Blushers

Today I am going to write about my favourite blushers. I use blush every day without fail, and I love doing a quick sweep up and out on my cheekbones. My all time favourite is Benefit Thrrrob, but I have been using the Pink Prestige one a lot as its a nice alternative. Also Mac Nuance and Stereo Rose I like to use every now and again to go for a slightly more grown up look. My only problem with the Benefit one is the packaging, it looks so grubby now compared to the others. I think Benefit need to sort that out! Swatches and photos below. My New Sunglasses and Failed Eyelashes

Hellooo everyone!

How you all doing? As I mentioned previously I have a week off work this week which I am soooo happy about! Its amazing having a rest and I plan to try and write a blog everyday this week :)

Today I wanted to write about eyelashes - I tried out Sleek's Shanghai ones, and I have to say they were a big disaster because the glue didn't even work! I swear! I tried it two or three times and they just would not stick to my eyes. I was so disappointed. So I put on a pair from eyelashesdirect.co.uk after that which worked fine, but they are so subtle you can't really tell I even have them on.

So what with the eyelash fail I decided to just cover up my eyes and show you my brand new sunglasses that I am in love with - they are so retro! They are from Chloe and I will let my silly pictures do the talking! Sorry about the posing but I just couldn't help it haha!

I think I will be wearing these all summer long ...

Something For The Summer...

Hey everyone :)

I haven't posted much the last week or so as I have been so busy, but I finally have some time off work next week so I will definitely do some then!

Today its so warm outside and its just beautiful - I wanted to compile some photos that make me soo happy its summer, and people (Including my three favourite blonde ladies!)/things that are inspiring me - and that make me think about all the things I love about this season.
